GORDON (6) Had to be alert in the opening stages as Thistle started brightly, but had little to do thereafter as Celtic dominated.

LUSTIG (7) No match for his fellow Swede Guidetti, but another good performance from the right-back. Should have opened the scoring midway through the first half, but saw his header saved by Fox.

DENAYER (7) Not the biggest barometer of his undoubted potential. Coped well with the lively Eccleston early on and eased through rest of the game.

VAN DIJK (7) Never flustered and rarely troubled. Dutch stopper was comfortable alongside Denayer as the Hoops cruised to success.

IZAGUIRRE (7) Capped a fine performance with his first goal in four years, finishing well just after the break to open the floodgates for Celtic.

BROWN (7) Will have harder tasks in the midfield battle, but lead by example to help his side dominate. Satisfying night's work all round for the skipper.

MULGREW (7) Had little to do as the anchor man in the Celtic engine room. Didn't put a foot wrong, though.

JOHANSEN (7) Strolled through the game in the middle of the park. Another impressive showing from the Norwegian.

McGREGOR (5) Not his finest half in the Hoops this season. Struggled to get into the game and was hooked at the break.

STOKES (6) Missed a glorious chance early on as he headed wide when unmarked in the area. Outshone by his strike partner but decent performance.

GUIDETTI (9) Has had a big price tag slapped on his head by Man City and showed why last night. Two terrific free-kicks either side of the break clinched the win for Celtic and he didn't have to wait long for his hat-trick as he fired home from the spot.

WAKASO (6) (for McGregor 45) Played his part as Celtic turned on the style after the break.

GRIFFITHS (6) (for Stokes 58) Made the most of his chance to impress. Two goals in a lively cameo as he looks to give boss Deila food for thought.

SCEPOVIC (5) (for Guidetti 62) Passed up a couple of chances to add to his Celtic tally.
