OH ME and, indeed, oh my.

As if we needed further proof that The Arches is back in business.

This weekend it delivers a Bank Holiday double header that would make most European superclubs wince in shame, embarrassment and other complex emotions that only the Germans have translations for.

It all begins tomorrow night with the techno juggernaut Pressure returning after a long, summer-induced absence.

If the snapback-wearing, sunbed-bronzed lads I overheard talking about it on Buchanan Street on Monday are any kind of authority, it's going be wild (Jamie's missus is away for the weekend so it's back to theirs after, too).

A suitably enormous season opening night has techno label CLR Records taking over, with founder Chris Liebling, Berlin-based British DJ Tommy Four Seven, and old hands Slam in the back arch.

The front features Visionquest's Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Sean Reeves, fresh from their showcase at London's Fabric earlier this month.

On Saturday, Italian producer Mauro Picotto rolls back the years with a turn-of-the-millennium set.

Fourteen years ago the trance stalwart was pounding these same cavernous arches with his lizard-themed anthems, so it's only fitting that he headlines this throwback to the year 2000.

And on Wednesday, the world-beating London producer Duke Dumont brings his live show back to the venue following his storming set in May.

Even if you only know Need U (100%), there are worse things to do with your Wednesday night.

l Pressure Opening night, tomorrow, The Arches, 10pm - 3am, £20

l Mauro Picotto, Saturday, The Arches, 10pm - 3am, £22

l Duke Dumont, Wednesday, The Arches, 7pm - 10pm, sold out

Outdoor party

A YEAR after the first (legal) street party in Tradeston since. well, ever, celebrate with the Platform 18 crew as founder Ivan Kutz and resident Niz spin from start to finish on Saturday.

The outdoor urban setting has made for some wild scenes at this summer's Platform parties, and with only residents behind the decks, this one is going to go off.

Keeping it out of the ordinary, A Super Weird Happening takes in talk, live art, visuals, photography, a Blind Arcade performance, and a three-hour Greg Wilson DJ finale all under one roof on the same night. It's at SWG3 tomorrow night, with Beta band frontman Steve Mason a new addition to the bill.

l A Super Weird Happening with Greg Wilson, tomorrow, SWG3, 7pm - 3am, £12/15

l Ivan Kutz, Saturday, West Street, 2pm - 10pm, £13

Saintly launch

KEEP IT 100, a new Thursday night at Saint Judes, launches tonight with the promise of saccharine pop, R&B and disco thrills in a refreshingly non-awful environment.

Numbers co-founder P.O.L.STYLE and Glasgow stalwart DJ Naeem team up tonight, with sets from Inkke and Sam Vitamins in coming weeks.

Tomorrow you have the chance to catch our favourite DJ Barrientos in his preferred setting as he headlines the latest installment of Don't Drop with luscious, sun-kissed house that brims with soul.

And last but not least, the Buff Club's Fresher's Week contribution is a (freezing cold, surely?) boat party which sets sail tonight from the Riverside Museum and continues the boogie back at the club until 4am. You can also score some free gear from streetwear brand du jour Abandon Ship in a lovely tie-in.

l Keep It 100 with Nightwave, tonight, Saint Judes, 11pm - 3am, £5

l The Buff Club Student Boat Party, tonight, Riverside Museum, 7pm - 4am, £10

l Don't Drop with Barrientos, tomorrow, Saint Judes, 11pm - 3am, £5
