WHEN time, money and space in your bathroom cabinet and make-up bag is scarce, rely on a multi-tasking product.

Some of the best ones share skincare and make-up benefits and are handy enough to take with you for touch-ups on the go.

Much talked about but hard to find unless you trawled online is Papaya Gold Paw Paw, £5.99, a super moisturising balm that is a handbag essential. Now on sale at Boots and Superdrug, we can all get our hands on a tube of Australia's wonderbalm.

Skin healing and eczema friendly, it contains manuka honey and can be used for everything from lips and cuticles to cuts, bites, blemishes and burns.

Pop it in your bag to stop dehydration during a long flight or keep it in your sports bag.

Another keeper is Arran Aromatics Feel Good Formulas Seaweed & Mineral Salt Scrub, £12.75. Handy by the bath for removing fake tan as well as exfoliating and moisurising, it features natural seaweed extract and is packed with minerals and moisturising oils.

With a host of super ingredients including ylang-ylang, rosewood, jasmine and lavender, use Darphin Revitalizing Oil, £24, on the body, face and hair.

On counter from October 24. Tom Ford Traceless Perfecting Foundation SPF15, £62, is a high coverage foundation containing an infusing complex that is found in the brand's skincare range. Hey, presto! Foundation and moisturiser all in one.

Lighten the load in your make-up bag with the Cargo Contour Kit, £22, from Debenhams. The co-ordinated highlighter, blush and contour colours come in a handy palette with a good sized mirror for easy application.

Working from bottom to top, apply the contour shade under the cheekbone and blend. Follow with blush on the apple of the cheeks and finish with highlighter on the upper cheekbones. Easy.

Don't leave home without the Shavata Arch Enhancer, £10.50, a soft pink, light-reflecting jumbo pencil designed to accentuate the brow arch - but it can also be used as a cheek high-lighter when you're on the go.

The new launch from skincare range Nourish is a fabulous multi-tasker. The Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser, £16.50, is a cleanser, mask and facial all in one.

Created by Dr Pauline Hili, the pioneer in results-driven bioactive formulations, this latest addition to the Kale & Argan Treatment Collection renews and mattifies the skin, leaving it looking rejuvenated and healthy. It is also certified 81% organic and Soil Association certified.

Tackle dehydrated skin, hair and even nails with Argan+ Precious Oil Elxir, £12.99. The blend includes five active African oils - argan, baobab, kukui, moringa and sacha inci -- all specially selected for their high nutritional content.

Apply to the face at night before moisturiser for an intense hit of rehydration, leave it overnight on the ends of hair as a treatment or rub into hands, nails and feet to soften skin and cuticles.
