A bakery which specialises in muffins is to open in a Glasgow shopping centre creating 18 jobs.

Muffin Break café-bakery will open in the St Enoch's Shopping Centre on April 23.

With 54 café-bakeries nationwide, Muffin Break has perfected the art of baking breakfast, lunch and snacks, as well as serving its signature blend of coffee to drink in or take away.

The new Muffin Break St Enoch store, which seats 90 customers, is owned by Franchisee's Rosie and Richard Mclucas.

Richard said: "We are really excited about opening our new store in St Enoch!

"What makes Muffin Break different from other cafes is the ability to bake our products fresh every morning. We cannot wait to share our scrumptious goods with future customers.

"We hope our wide variety of quiches, sandwiches, cakes and of course the muffins we are famous for, will entice customers to visit us again and again."

The café-bakery is not only known for its freshly baked goods, but also for its great-tasting coffee which is made from 100% Arabica beans and is sourced from five premium growing regions.

Muffin Break St Enoch will also be serving delicious muffins, cakes, slices, cookies and scones; alongside quiches, sandwiches, soups, wraps and paninis.

Muffin Break has a loyalty card scheme available to customers, where you can claim every sixth coffee purchased for free.

Plus by registering your loyalty card on the Muffin Break website, customers automatically receive a hot drink of their choice absolutely free.
