We suspect if you look closely enough you might see Noah arguing over the delivery date for his Ark.

Although we can't be certain, we think it shows the old J&G Thomson yard, later to be bought over by John Brown.

The Thomsons had originally built ships in Glasgow, but had to move downstream when the Clyde Navigation Trust wanted their land to build the Princes' Dock

They settled on a site near Dalmuir, in 1871, at the confluence of the River Cart with the River Clyde, opposite Newshot Island.

The island, once a dumping ground for Clyde silt, is now linked the to south bank and acts as a watery nature reserve.
