N-Dubz star Dappy and rapper Tinchy Stryder will present backstage coverage of the MOBO awards in Glasgow.

The pair will team up to share behind-the-scenes gossip from the stars of next month's glittering event.

The duo will also take to the stage with a medley including their recent hit Spaceship, which is nominated for Best Video.

Boyz II Men, Jessie J and Katy B have already been confirmed to perform at the SECC event on October 5.

Dappy said: "I love the MOBO Awards, it has changed our lives."

Previous MOBO award winner Alesha Dixon has been revealed as the co-host of the main show.

The Boy Does Nothing singer who co-hosted the show in Liverpool last year, will join R'n'B superstar Jason Derulo.

This year the voting system will include one category where fans can cast votes on Facebook.

MOBO chief executive and founder Kanya King said: "Dappy and Tinchy are sure to make an interesting double act – we look forward to seeing their backstage antics beamed on to the big screens in the SECC."

It is hoped the MOBOs will be a major economic boost for the city.
