FANS of Glasgow's most popular visitor attraction have until Sunday to turn it into a TV star.

Riverside is through to the semi-finals of the National Lottery Awards 2012. But the public only has until noon on Sunday to vote for the city's new transport museum.

The awards are held annually to find the UK's favourite Lottery funded projects which will feature on a BBC1 TV show in November. Each venue will also receive £2000 .

Since it opened a year ago, the £74million museum on the banks of the Clyde has been visited by more than 1.5m people.

Archie Graham, chairman of Glasgow Life, said: "Every vote is crucial."
