THE final countdown to become Glasgow's Star Turn is under way.
The clock is ticking as the deadline for entries closes at 12noon TODAY before our judges begin choosing the best of the city's up-and-coming talent.
The final 10 will c ompete for the title at an event hosted by Clyde 1's Knoxy.
And it is set to be one of the liveliest events of the year as our top talent vies to take the main prize and wow our judges.
Pop Idol winner and Evening Times' columnist Michelle McManus, comedian Sanjeev Kohli, TV news girl Catriona Shearer and panto star Dean Park will assess each act and make the final decision.
The final will be held in the Old Fruitmarket, with the winner taking a £1000 prize.
