MUSIC fans will be in with the chance of winning a guitar made famous by Jimi Hendrix at an annual charity gig.
Glasgow-based group the Soul Doctors will provide the entertainment at the seventh Great Big Property Gig along with Scottish bands Rules of Conduct, Logic and the Media.
Organisers are urging people to attend to help raise money and support the Scottish Spina Bifida Association and Cancer Research UK.
The event has raised more than £70,000 for charities since it was launched. This year's gig takes place next Thursday at The Ferry, next to the River Clyde.
Donny McKinnon of Downtown Space – one of the Gig's founder members – said: "The Gig is all about forgetting about formal, black tie charity events and having a chance to relax, enjoy good music and catch up with friends and colleagues, while raising money.
"Charities have had a tough time in the last few years, with fewer people and companies being in a position to make donations.
"So although we all know how tough it's been for the Scottish property industry, we know that charities are also suffering from the recession and need our continued support."
Tickets are on sale now from www.thegreat bigpropertygig.co.uk priced at £17.50.
There will be the opportunity to win a classic Fender Stratocaster, as weilded by Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Eric Clapton many other guitar legends.
Founder member Stephen McHard, of Wallace Whittle, added: "Everyone involved provides their time and services free of charge and is related in some way to the property industry.
"We've raised a superb amount of money over the last few years, so let's keep the momentum going."
