Pixie races in to help Scots charity event

POP star Pixie Lott will make a special guest appearance at a charity event in Ayr.

The 'All About Tonight' singer, above, who has had three No 1 singles, will perform at the STV Appeal Racenight at Ayr Racecourse, tonight.

Pixie has recently appeared in Japan, China and Hungary, and will take to the stage after the night of racing.

Lindsey Smith, Ayr Racecourse sales and marketing manager, said: "We are expecting a superb party atmosphere and the presence of a top star like Pixie is a huge boost.

"We will also have some of the STV celebrities in attendance and the message to everyone is, we are in for a fun evening."

The STV Appeal works with major Scottish charities to help children affected by poverty in Scotland.
