LITTLE Isla Grist, inset below, bares a striking resemblance to flame-haired Princess Merida, the star of the new Disney Pixar film Brave.

And both walked the red carpet last night for the Glasgow premiere of the new film set to take cinemas across the globe by storm.

Isla, 3, who suffers from a devastating skin condition called epidermolysis bullosa (EB), was invited to join an advanced screening of the film by the charity Debra.

She travelled to the city from her home in Inverness with mum Rachael, dad Andy and her older sister Emily, 6.

EB is a genetic condition which causes the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.

Featuring the voices of Kelly Macdonald and Billy Connolly it's hoped the movie will create a tourism boom for Scotland.

Proceeds from the showing at the city's Cineworld in Renfrew Street will go to Debra to support people affected by EB and search for new treatments.
