THE woman behind a property management company that bought the assets of liquidated rogue factor FSE has moved to distance herself from the failed firm.

As reported in yesterday's Evening Times, Apex Property Factor Ltd, owned by Christine Davidson-Bakhshaee, bought FSE (Scotland) Ltd's assets when the Bearsden-based business went under.

FSE, owned by Jim Williamson, was the factor for around 43 developments across Glasgow and employed Mrs Davidson-Bakhshaee until the firm went under.

With a background in property management, Mrs Davidson-Bakhshaee took over FSE's assets.

But she says she is also out of pocket after about £50,000 of equipment that was supposed to be handed over as part of the deal failed to materialise.

FSE also owes money to other businesses, including a cleaning firm.

Mrs Davidson-Bakhshaee said: "Apex is a totally independent company and has no connection with FSE (Scotland) Ltd, FSE Developments Ltd, Jim Williamson and any other staff associated with FSE.

"We bought the client development portfolio and the majority of the tangible assets. At the handover of all assets, the majority were missing and to replace the missing items will cost us in the region of £50,000.

"Of the equipment received that day, all we were given at the handover was a van with three flat tyres and an oil leak, some trowels, a broken rake and some miscellaneous items.

"I was an employee of FSE but employees cannot be held responsible for their directors' actions or for the company going into liquidation.

"Apex is working very hard to bring FSE's neglect of the sites up to an acceptable standard. The neglect was horrendous.

"On visiting all sites I was disgusted at the lack of work that should have been carried out by FSE. It has cost us a substantial amount of money just to start work on the worst effected sites.

"Most of FSE's clients have agreed to come over to Apex and we are working very hard to deal with their concerns."

Apex, which is based in Kirkintilloch, was incorporated as a company on March 13, and FSE went bust two days later.

Mrs Davidson-Bakhshaee is also the director of a separate company called G60 Property Management Ltd, which was incorporated on the same day as Apex.

G60 is based in Killearn, Stirlingshire.
