Fire crews tackled a blaze at a Glasgow scrapyard after 100 tonnes of metal went up in flames.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at King George V docks in Govan at around 7pm last night.
The blaze involved a large amount of scrap, but no-one was hurt. It is thought the scrap metal caught alight in a shed, and heavy smoke was visible from a distance.
Water was pumped from the Clyde to bring the blaze under control, and crews finally left the scene at around 5.30am.
