GLASGOW'S West End is set for a mini jobs boost.
Retail giant B&M Bargains is recruiting ahead of the launch of a new store at the Great Western Retail Park.
Bosses plan to hire 40 staff before the store opens on Saturday, November 15.
Store manager June McMullen said: "We're proud to be creating another 40 jobs this year and continuing to play our part in the local community."
Representatives from the Yorkhill Children's Charity will perform a ribbon cutting ceremony at the store.
It's the second jobs boost by the chain for Glasgow this year. B&M chiefs created 60 jobs when they opened a store at the Forge Retail Park in Parkhead in March.
