CLYDE 1 DJ Suzie McGuire enjoyed an extra special picture show at a luxury new clinic for expectant mums.
The popular breakfast show presenter, who is expecting her fourth baby at the end of next month, cut the ribbon at the official opening of a state-of-the-art 4D scanning service in Motherwell.
Suzie, proud husband Derek and children Millie, 8, Daisy, 6, and Oliver, 16 months, were shown real-time moving pictures of her baby on a giant 40in plasma TV screen.
The new clinic, the first of its kind outside the major cities, offers a spa-style experience for expectant mums, complete with a wide range of complementary services.
The new scanning servicing, called ABC4D, is being headed up by Dr Evelyn Ferguson, a consultant obstetrician gynaecologist who looked after Suzie during her other pregnancies.
Suzie, who is on maternity leave from George and Suzie in the Morning on Clyde, said: "It was amazing, especially for the kids. You know what they're like – they won't believe anything until they've seen it on TV."
Dr Ferguson said: "Pregnancy is a worrying time for all women, even if everything is going according to plan. ABC4D will allow them to reassure themselves and also help share their experience with family and friends."
