FIVE women are due to appear in court today in connection with alleged brothel-keeping in Glasgow.
As reported by the Evening Times, the women were arrested on Friday after a police operation in the city centre.
Officers swooped on four properties in Variety Gate, Bath Street, on Friday afternoon.
Police Scotland confirmed the women had been arrested in connection with alleged brothel-keeping. All five females - aged 21, 22, 31, 38 and 48 - are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
