1 Firth of Clyde:
Stretching from Dumbarton to the south of Arran, it is one of the most scenic areas of Scotland.
2 Firth of Forth: The glacial estuary of the River Forth, which runs under the landmark Forth Bridges.
3 Moray Firth: An inlet of the North Sea, it is the largest firth in Scotland.
4 Beauly Firth: A continuation of the Moray Firth, it stretches from the Kessock Bridge to Beauly.
5 Pentland Firth: Large body of water that separates Orkney from the north coast of the Scottish mainland.
6 Solway Firth: It separates Scotland and England, with Dumfries and Galloway to the north and Cumbria to the south.
7 Firth of Tay: It empties into the North Sea between Fife and Dundee.
8 Dornoch Firth: It forms part of the boundary between Ross and Cromarty and Sutherland.
9 Firth of Lorn: It separates Mull from the Argyllshire coast.
10 Cromarty Firth: In the east Highlands, it is home to the safe anchorage of Invergordon.
