Well done to the police on the Knightswood campus cops and their litter initiative.

Perhaps this should be rolled out across all offending schools with a bit of notice to the pupils who offend.

So many kids go to fast food shops for lunch and just throw away the wrappers every day.

Sad though they have been brought up so badly with little respect for others .

What is the future for independent shops in our city centre. After Crocket's announcing they are to close and many others going the same way, where does it end.

I think something has to be done to help them whether it be an initiative to help with parking issues or creating small traders event in the town.

How can we survive just on the big names and the same old same old. Do we not want individuality anymore? If we don't all shop at the same shops and go for the mass produced products, the world won't burst. Let's hear it for the small traders.

So it it just me or is the Highway Code just for cyclists and not taxi drivers. I was going straight on and a taxi was turning right and cut in front of me. It seems to be one rule for us and one for taxi drivers. Would he have done the same to a car driver - I think not. We cyclists seem to become invisible on the roads when we have as much right as anyone to be on the roads. And for the record the Highway Code applied to everyone.

I couldn't help but hear the little slip up with a sports presenter on Everton being the only English, sorry British team left in Europe after Celtic lost on Thursday night. It is funny how just a few months after the Referendum and the messages of stay Scotland and remain part of the union seem to be long forgotten.
