Rangers fans have been under the spotlight for their behaviour, and their songbook in particular, in recent days.

There is a problem to be solved, but it is certainly not as big a problem as it was in the past.

Rangers have probably done more than any other club to try and curb the singing of songs and chants that have caused offence and I don't know what more they can do to stop it.

Before every game at Ibrox, there are messages played over the tannoy system and there are procedures in place to deal with fans who step out of line.

Rangers have done their bit, now it is up to the fans. If a new era is heralded in at Ibrox next week, we need everyone going in the one direction.

I would like to see the fans singing Rangers songs and cheering the team on to get the club back to where it belongs.

It is a small element of the support that have come in for criticism in the last few days. If it continues, there is a danger that Rangers will get punished for it. No fan wants that.

I doesn't matter what other supporters are doing. We seem to be the ones that get blamed all the time and the ones that are hauled up.

The quicker we can stop it the better. We need the fans to sing the right songs, Rangers songs, and support the team.
