For Ashley to take charge - let's face it, that's what he's done - then he has to thrash out a deal with the governing body.

Because SFA rules state that nobody involved with another club has "power to influence the management or administration of a club".

But Derek Llambias and Barry Leach are effectively running operations. It is plain for everyone to see.

The AGM will be held next month and shareholders will be able to ask questions of those in charge. It can't come too soon.
