Eddie ready for Euros with Danny capture

GLASGOW City have snapped up defensive midfielder Danni Pagliarulo from Spartans.

City head coach Eddie Wolecki Black said: "The signing of Danni came about due to our injury problems. We have suffered numerous long-term injuries over the course of the past year or so and sadly we have also inherited a few players who have joined us not 100% fit.

"With Europe looming, I knew we did not have either the depth or quality within the club at the moment to replace the injured players. With this is mind, we identified several targets and we are delighted to have secured Danni."

Pagliarulo said: "It was a very hard decision to leave Spartans, but they were very understanding and told me to follow my dream. I'm excited at the prospect of working with Eddie."
