FORMER Celtic defender Glenn Loovens has been tipped to be a La Liga hit by ex-team-mate Marc Crosas.
The Dutch stopper has sealed a two-year deal with Real Zaragoza.
And Spanish midfielder Crosas – who was a colleague of Loovens and now plays in Mexico with Santos Laguna – reckons he has the attributes to make it.
He said: "It is a fantastic move for him because La Liga is the best league in the world.
"He is a very strong central defender. Despite his physique, he is not bad on the ball and I think it is a very good signing for Zaragoza.
"If he can stay injury-free and keep his place in the team, he can do very well. He's good at reading the game and is a good organiser. I expect him to do well at Zaragoza."
Loovens spent four years at Parkhead and made 57 SPL starts for the Hoops.
