MORTON have been hit with another injury blow after defender Thomas O'Ware suffered a broken shinbone.

The left-back was injured against Raith Rovers a fortnight ago, but was scheduled to line up for the Ton against Ross County last week before the Dingwall clash was postponed, writes Chris Jack

With Ross Forsyth still sidelined through injury, Cappielow boss Allan Moore faces a selection headache ahead of their trip to Palmerston tomorrow and admits the loss of O'Ware is cruel blow. He said: "It looks as though Thomas has got a crack in his tibia.

"He got a knock on it during the Raith game and at first we thought it was just ligament damage.

"He has been to see the doctor and it looks like a stress fracture.

"It is a major blow to us because, if it is fractured, then he will be out for a number of weeks.

"It is a blow for Thomas and for us because it leaves us short of numbers at the back again."
