ALAN ARCHIBALD claims it was a 'no brainer' to bring in Hibs full-back Callum Booth in on loan.
The left-back goes straight into the Partick Thistle squad to face St Mirren tomorrow night after completing a six month switch to Firhill.
Booth has previously enjoyed fruitful temporary spells at clubs like Raith Rovers, and Jags boss Archie said: "I think it shows a great attitude [to go out on loan].
"It's not an easy league to play in [the Championship].
"I know people say it is a step down but it's a tough place to go and play.
"I think last year he played against some good sides.
"It was a no-brainer for us, he knows the league and we're not taking a gamble.
"The only gamble is getting him to know the boys as quickly as we can.
"He will go into the squad. He trained today and it's been bubbling over for the last three weeks or so. It's just been trying to get it over the line."
