ALBION ROVERS boss Todd Lumsden admits his side were not up to scratch as they fell to a 3-0 home defeat to Alloa.
The Coatbridge side are still looking for their first win of the season and now find themselves bottom of the Irn-Bru Second Division as the only team yet to register a point.
Former Partick Thistle striker Martin Grehan gave Paul Hartley's side the ideal start at Cliftonhill before Robert Thomson sealed the points with a late double.
Lumsden said: "The performance was poor. The games we have played, we have come off and we could take positives from them.
"In the Dumbarton game and the Brechin game, there were aspects that were pleasing.
"On Saturday, though, there wasn't a lot to get excited about.
"Our desire, effort and determination was lacking compared to theirs."
