BRYAN PRUNTY has told fans Dumbarton will take nothing for granted when they face Queen of the South in the Ramsdens Cup this weekend.

Alan Adamson's side have replaced the Doonhamers in the Irn-Bru First Division for the new season, which swings into action tomorrow

Prunty said: "We're ready for the competitive stuff to start – no doubt about it. These are the games that mean the most to you and we have been gearing up for this all through pre-season.

"I want to win every game I play in but we all know it will be very difficult. Queens still have some full-time players and we are under no illusions about the game."
