SPANISH coach Manuel Preciado died of a heart-attack in Valencia today, his former team Sporting Gijon confirmed in a statement on their club website.
He was 54 years old.
Preciado died just 24 hours after agreeing to take over the reigns as manager at relegated Villarreal for next season and was scheduled to be presented to the media at their Madrigal Stadium tomorrow.
