DANNY WILSON says new Hearts team-mate Alim Ozturk reminds him of former Rangers star Madjid Bougherra.
The ex-Ibrox kid partnered Ozturk as the Jambos got their campaign off to a winning start against Annan in the Petrofac Training Cup at the weekend, with striker Osman Sow finding the target on his debut in a 3-1 triumph.
Robbie Neilson's side will head to Glasgow on the opening day of the Championship campaign next month as they get set to battle it out with the Light Blues for the second tier title.
Wilson said: "Alim looks like he could be a consistent scorer for us, which we desperately needed last season.
"He reminds me of Madjid Bougherra. He's got that cockiness, that kind of arrogance and confidence in his ability. He likes the ball at his feet and wants to play the game.
"He clearly fancies himself as our free kick taker now. He scored once in training, so he takes them all now."
