IT'S Scotland's most glamorous night of racing as Hamilton Park Ladies Night mixes thoroughbred horses with high fashion.

On Saturday, as well as hosting six races, bosses are holding fashion shows in a special shopping area.

Presented by Clyde 1's Knoxy, looks from occasion-wear favourite Catherines of Partick, as well as jewellery brand Tresor Paris, will be showcased on the catwalk.

Fake Bake is also teaming up with the racecourse for the night.

Book tickets in advance and the first 500 ladies will get free Tresor Paris earrings, 10% discount at Catherines of Partick and a half-price spray tan at a Fake Bake boutique. The Best Dressed Lady will be crowned by Clyde 1's Gina McKie, with a total first prize worth £400. Topless barmen will staff the champagne bar, and party band Big Vern 'n' the Shootahs will provide the entertainment.

Racecourse boss Vivien Kyles said: "Ladies Night is one of our most popular fixtures, and it is easy to see why. Not only does the night offer the first-class racing of a Super Six fixture, our lady race-goers will also enjoy a fantastic night of high fashion and glamour.

"Whether it is show-casing the latest Catherines of Partick and Tresor Paris lines on the catwalk, or Fake Bake offering product advice, our style partners will add even more value to Ladies Night."

l Gates open at 4.15pm with the first race at 6.15pm. Advance tickets start at £13 (or cost £15 at the gate) from www.hamilton-park.co.uk, or 01698 283806.
