Well thanks to short sightedness of Dr Beeching and co. the former station at Ibrox would still be there and we wouldn't have to spend £millions on re-opening a station that was shut by some penny pinching bean counter in the 1960's!
The line to Kilmacolm is another classic example of such foolishness.

A dedicated rail service for Ibrox will be great - it will take the morons off the underground.

That will be the subway and the trains that the good people of Glasgow cant use when these bigots use the train if this line is opened . What I am saying these fans dont sing obnoxious songs they sing about their culture and their history and their love of the England football team . Bring back the football specials and keep this scum away from the human race . Oh and before any silly Billy complains I do not support Celtic I am not a Taig indeed football is really quite silly

How many more trains can be ran out of glasgow central, there must be a finite number as the central bridge only has two train lines feeding the paisley/ayrshire and inverclyde routes, your limited to the width of the bridge, more track cant just be laid ,it's got to go down someware.

What a pity that the original Ibrox station, which closed in the 1960's, never got the chance to be serve by the Glasgow's original & unique "Blue Trains" !!!!!!

Glasgow has to be the European Capital of restrictions - its everywhere!
Don't even get me started on the buses - it takes 2 hours to get from Springburn to Pollok because First are a bunch of numpties who take buses off the road, then when a bus or two come, they fly by you with the driver offering two fingers for re-assurance - and that's just the 45 or 56.
When you hit Central and rely on services like the X8, they don't turn up, so effectively, although you maybe left the house at 8am, you don't get into work till 10am and you have to make excuses for a sh1t bus company to avoid the P45 scenario.
This isn't a one off, I have been experiencing difficulties since August 2007 - a bus operation with no regard for the public.
This place is so backward, it makes Carstairs Hospital look normal!

Exactly, the fact that we have to take one step forwards and two backwards says it all.
The greed for new developers to get their wishes is all very well - but wt what price, when we lose so many precious ameneties, i.e our old, and existing rail infrastructure.
So many railway lines remain untouched, and are rusting away when they should and must be re-instated at all costs.
Upgrading our roads networks is simply not an option, and getting people out of their cars and onto trains and Public transport is essential.
Whether it's Ibrox, or Parkhead, the need for alternatives in our transport network is key.
And the more choices and options people have, the better - whatever the cost!

if nothing else Missing City at least we can all have a lugh at the ineptness, and stupidity of some our City's transport system.
Seen Glasgows Core Path Plan, its another farcical piece of nonsense! You couldn't write more tripe if you tried.
Just where do these Councillors get off in letting Profiteeering Companies like First run it's buses on our roads anyway, when it doesn't even have the routes people want or need.
------
The biggest joke of all is - just how many of our Councillors and Politicians are using our Public Transport System they promote?
And, how many cars do most of our Policians have ? (i.e. Mr 2 Jags and 2 5hags Prescott!)
Glasgow City Council - Arrrrgghhhh!!!
