CAMPAIGNERS have issued a shock call to their local council:

“Please knock down out town!”

With Tesco still to deliver on a 2007 plan to rebuild the town centre – dubbed Scotland’s most dismal in the annual Carbuncle Awards – Linwood Community Development Trust wants Renfrewshire Council to bring in the bulldozers.
