Customers who use TV Licensing's cash payment plan or savings card can make small weekly or fortnightly payments towards the cost of their licence.

They can also check their balance and change their details online at or by text message.

Transactions are quick and simple, making it more straightforward for cash-scheme customers to manage payments.

However, customers can still choose to pay over the counter or by phone - an automated service is available 24 hours a day.

People can also spread the cost using monthly or quarterly direct debit, which can be set up online, by debit or credit card over the phone or online, over the counter at any PayPoint outlet or by putting a cheque in the post.
