A MURDER hunt has been launched after a Glasgow stabbing victim lost his fight for life in hospital.

Christopher Munro, 23, was found seriously injured in a neighbour's house.

He was rushed to hospital, but died more than 12 hours later.

Police today said that Mr Munro was discovered in a flat near his home in Inverness Street, Govan, just after midnight on Sunday. He died yesterday afternoon in the Southern General.

He had left the Gazelle Bar in Govan Road around 11.45 on Sunday night.

It is thought he may have met a man called "Rab" after leaving the bar.

Detective Inspector Willie Coyle said today: "We are trying to establish Mr Munro's movements prior to midnight.

"It is also vital that we talk to this man called Rab."

Anyone who was with Mr Munro on Sunday night, or has any information, should contact police.
