NEW Scotland manager George Burley will meet his players next month at a squad get-together. Talking of Scotland, Bobby Barr of Blantyre asks: Did Charlie Cooke or Gordon Strachan get a full Scotland cap while playing for Dundee?

lStrachan had moved on to Aberdeen before he was awarded his first cap. Cooke did, however, play for his country while at Dens.

Charlie's first cap was against Wales on November 24, 1965, with Scotland winning 4-1.

He gained just one more cap before moving to Chelsea. That came in a World Cup qualifier, a 3-0 defeat against Italy in Naples on December 7 of that year. Charlie won the rest of his 16 caps at Chelsea.
