COMIC Ford Kiernan is looking swell as he explodes back on to the silver screen in the hit Scots comedy Dear Green Place.
The funnyman is left puffed with more than pride after his character Henderson suffers an allergic reaction to a grim reality of park life - dog poo.
The head greenkeeper is rushed to hospital in the first of the hilarious new six-part BBC series. Kiernan said: "It is great fun."
Kiernan shot to fame in sketch show Chewin' the Fat alongside co-star Greg Hemphill before they went on to sitcom Still Game.
He has left his comedy sidekick behind to team up with another Still Game favourite Paul Riley, who plays one-legged Winston.
But Kiernan said the cult show will return with a Hogmanay episode.
Riley, who stars as parkie Riordan, wrote Dear Green Place which starts on BBC1 Scotland on October 19.
