An investigation is under way after a man's body was pulled from the River Clyde in Glasgow.
Police said the body was found in the water, close to the city's Science Centre in Pacific Quay, yesterday morning.
A police spokeswoman said: "At 10.10am on Monday, the body of a man was recovered from the River Clyde in Glasgow."
The grim discovery comes just days after a 23-year-old woman was found dead in the Clyde.
Victoria Sloss' body was found on Saturday morning by a member of the public.
The student nurse, who lived in Glasgow, had been dropped off by a silver taxi in Seaward Street, Kinning Park, at around 4.30am on Friday.
She was found at around 9am on Saturday at Napier Drive, Govan, opposite the Riverside Museum. Her death is not thought to be suspicious.
It is believed Ms Sloss, who was from Oban, may have drowned.
