PUPILS from Summerston's John Paul Academy toured Radio Clyde when they went to pick up their tickets for a special music event.
Fifth year pupil Aimee Irvine, 16, won her class tickets for Clyde 1 LIVE – starring music acts like Calvin Harris, Leona Lewis, McFly, JLS, Labrinth and Amelia Lily at the SECC.
Unfortunately Aimee was unwell, so couldn't attend the studio tour, but the fifth and sixth year pupils from the school went along.
They sat in on George Bowie's breakfast show and tried making sound bites on a special behind the scenes tour.
George rang Aimee at home, while he was live on air, to congratulate her on the win.
Aimee entered the competition, which was open to all S4-6 pupils, to win tickets for the gig on December, 13.
Vincent Collins, depute head at John Paul Academy, said: "They loved it, and they can't wait for the gig on the 13th."
