STREET dance troupe Diversity will spark a ticket rush in Glasgow tomorrow after it was revealed the group will be one of the star attractions at the city's newest entertainment venue.

The Britain's Got Talent winners, who are led by Got To Dance judge Ashley Banjo, will perform at The Hydro on December 10 next year, two months after the £125million venue opens.

But the tickets, priced from £23.50, go on sale tomorrow and thousands are expected to be snapped up quickly.

The dance act will showcase their new show Limitless and have promised to line up special guests for the night.

The group performed for the Queen last month at the Royal Variety Performance.

Diversity is the latest high profile act to be announced at the music venue, which is still being built and which will have a seating capacity of 12,000.

Chart-toppers JLS, Mock The Week comedian Micky Flanagan and former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel are already lined up for The Hydro, which is next to the SECC, after it opens next September.

The Hydro is expected to host about 140 events each year and it is estimated it will generate about £131m annually for Glasgow's economy.

Diversity tickets are available by calling 0844 395 4000 or from the website: www.ticketSOUP.com
