ITALY: The captain of the shipwrecked Costa Concordia has returned to court to appeal against being sacked, and said he will "certainly" command a ship again.
Francesco Schettino is challenging Costa Crociere's decision to fire him after his ship capsized off Tuscany a year ago, killing 32 people. Experts have blamed Schettino for the disaster. He says his steering saved lives.
Outside the hearing, near Naples, asked if he thought he'd command a ship again, Schettino said: "Yes, certainly."
