A CELTIC fan is to stand trial accused of singing pro-IRA songs at the clubs's match with Dundee in December.

Dion McLeish – a season ticket holder at Celtic Park – was arres- ted at Dundee's Dens Park on Boxing Day after disturbances in the Bob Shankly stand.

McLeish is alleged to have "sung a song in support of a proscribed terrorist organisation" during the match, which Celtic won 2-0.

Prosecutors say McLeish "engaged in behaviour that a reason-able person would be likely to consider offen- sive" and which would be "likely to incite public disorder".

McLeish was one of four fans arrested at the match.

The 19-year-old, of Craigpark Street, Clyde- bank, pleaded not guilty during a brief hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court.

He pleaded not guilty to a charge under sec-tion 1(1) of the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012.
