THE family of a Glasgow man missing for a week have made an emotional appeal to help trace him.

Ross Ramsay, 32, from Maryhill, has not been seen since February 14.

His distraught mum Sandra, 56, said: "Today it will be a week since we last heard from our son. We are terribly worried about him and desperate to find out if he's okay and safe.

"To anyone that has any information about Ross, we urge you to contact the police. Ross, we love you very much and miss you dearly."

His brother, Ryan 19, added: "Ross, you know we will always be here to help."

Ross was last seen at around midnight leaving the Gala Casino in Sauchiehall Street.

He is 5ft 10in, slim with auburn, shoulder-length, straight hair.

Police will be mounting a stop-and-speak operation in the West End tonight, starting at the Ben Nevis pub and moving on to the Gala Casino, retracing Ross's movements.
