Food fans can help make building a new hospice a piece of cake with the Glasgow Restaurant Association (GRA).
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice's ambitious Brick by Brick campaign has been chosen as the charity partner of the GRA.
The not-for-profit organisation is aiming to raise £5000 by donating proceeds from special menus in its popular Dine Around promotion in May towards the appeal.
Diners can choose between 70 participating restaurants offering two and three-course meals from £15.95 per person.
The hospice's capital appeal manager Heather Manson and retail development manager Bobby Grant tucked into a cake made by House for an Art Lover's head chef Ian Mackie to launch the promotion.
Ryan James, chairman of the GRA, said: "Glasgow is renowned for its culinary offering and we hope foodies across the country celebrate this with us and help raise money for such a worthwhile cause."
The Evening Times is backing the bid to create a new-build hospice on a site by Bellahouston Park, which would mean a four-fold increase in floorspace on its current home in Laurieston on the banks of the River Clyde.
