ANIMAL lovers are being urged to donate their unwanted Christmas gifts to help raise cash for poorly pets.

PDSA is on the look-out for festive presents that failed to impress this Christmas, from socks to gift sets, books, DVDs and everything in between.

Sally White, head of retail for PDSA, said: "Christmas is a magical time of year but there are always a few gifts that don't quite take our fancy, from ill-fitting jumpers to the unwanted book or the DVD you already own."

PDSA has 180 charity storeswhich raise money to provide PDSA-funded veterinary treatment for the sick and injured pets of people in need.

The charity's stores also welcome donations of good quality, pre-loved items including clothing, homeware, books, and DVDs. To find your local PDSA store please visit www.pdsa.org.uk/findus.
