Kenyan children welcomed the Commonwealth Games baton when it arrived in the country.
The youngsters were joined by Kenyan athletic great Kip Keino.
The double Olympic gold medal winner and three time Commonwealth Games gold medalist, is president of the Kenyan National Olympic Committee.
But the former middle and distance runner is also known for his humanitarian work in the country.
Keino said: "Seeing the baton reminds us that every country of the Commonwealth is now preparing for the Games.
"My advice to athletes is not to think too much about winning or losing, instead focus on enjoying your training and preparing for what's to come, mentally and physically."
The baton is on a 118,000 mile journey across 70 nations and territories of the Commonwealth before returning to Glasgow in time for this summer's Games.
