A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged firearms offence following an incident in Glasgow.
The 40-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
Police raced to the Gala Casino in Glassford Street, following reports that a man was in possesion of a weapon.
The incident took place at around 2.35pm yesterday.
Officers found it to be a replica firearm and police said there was never any threat to the public.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
