A FOOTBALL match will help raise cash for first aiders following the tragic death of an elderly fan.
Morton's Scottish Championship game against Queen of the South was abandoned on Saturday after long-time supporter Andrew Kemp collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack around 10 minutes into the game.
The match has been rescheduled for tonight and fans will get in free.
However the supporters will have the opportunity to make a donation at the turnstiles to St Andrew's First Aid's Inverclyde Group, who cared for Mr Kemp.
A minute's silence will also be held before the match at Cappielow Park in Greenock, as a mark of respect.
A statement on the club's website said: "Following the tragic events of Saturday, when we lost long-time supporter Andrew Kemp following a heart attack, the club announced that admission to the rescheduled date would be free of charge as a result of the abandoned match.
"We appreciate that there may be some supporters who attend who were not at the original fixture.
"With this in mind, there will be the opportunity to make a donation in lieu of the normal admission price at the turnstiles inside the ground.
"Following consultation with the family, all funds raised from donations on the night will go towards St Andrews First Aid (Inverclyde Group) who cared for Mr Kemp."
