Man due in court in connection with alleged rape
A MAN is due to appear in court today in connection with an alleged rape in Glasgow.
Police said a 25-year-old had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident in West George Lane, near Hope Street.
A probe was launched by detectives after a 27-year-old woman reported the alleged incident on Tuesday evening.
Police Scotland today confirmed the man had been arrested.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
