A NEW Co-operative food store will opens its doors in Lenzie next week creating 14 jobs.
The store, on the site of a former petrol station in Kirkintilloch Road, will be officially opened by youngsters from the neighbouring Lenzie Primary School next Thursday.
Gordon Reid, Store Manager, said: "We know Lenzie residents are passionate about their food and our new Co-operative food store will certainly reflect this. The store will be packed with modern and interesting meal ideas that, while quick and easy to put together, are sure to impress.
"We are thrilled to be opening the doors of our new store, and we are looking forward to serving customers from the new premises. As a community retailer, we are delighted that Lenzie Primary School is playing a central role in the opening."
