Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a woman was seriously assaulted in her own home.
The 29-year-old victim was attacked by two women at around 11.50pm on Saturday in her home on Houston Street in Renfrew.
She was treated at Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital for an injury to her hand.
The two suspects are described as white, Scottish and in their mid 20s.
One was wearing a black coat and the other was wearing an "army" green tracksuit.
Detective Constable Eric Hepburn said: "Extensive inquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this attack but officers working on the case believe that the victim was specifically targeted."
Police Scotland have urged anyone with information to come forward.
