FOUR people are due to appear in court in connection with a drugs seizure worth £244,000.
Two men aged 62 and 57, and two women, aged 59 and 36, were arrested after officers searched a cottage in Cleland, North Lanarkshire.
Police recovered a quantity of cannabis after the operation yesterday morning.
The four people are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Two men aged 62 and 57, and two females aged 59 and 36, have been arrested in connection with the recovery.
"A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
